Primary Clutch Pin/Weight Spacers???

I'm looking for the plastic/composite spacers from the aftermarket that go on either side of the primary weights and eliminate the need for the set-screw. Anyone have any contact info?

I went to Ace hardware and found some to replace the rubber o ring.

Not looking for the O-rings. I'm looking for the aftermaket company selling the spacers that sit right beside the clutch weights and keep the weight centered on the roller and allow you to get rid of the set screw.

You could make your own out of plastic washers you can purchase at Ace Hardware.

I was thinking of that, just not sure they would take the load of the weight from the side. I thought they might crush. Probably isn't much side load of the weight anyway. If the little set screw holds it in place then the plastic washers from Ace should work. I was going to try them tomorrow anyway.

Wont that tear up the weight? It would be able to slip over the set screw indent unless you replace the pin.

use plastic spacers off a comet 4 post. this is what i have used since 05.

What would be the benifit of doing this?

After the spacers are installed and the set-screw taken out then the clutch weight pin could possably rotate and keep from wearing the pin out in one spot. That and I'm tired of the tiny set screws anytime I want to change weights.

got mine at local hardware supplier. nylon bushing type thing that are called something else besides washers, name escapes me at the moment.

Yep them are the ones. Thanks. I put some nylon hardware bushings in for now and will see how they hold up. I keept the o-rings in though.
