Primary Clutch Pin/Weight Spacers???

I was thinking of that, just not sure they would take the load of the weight from the side. I thought they might crush. Probably isn't much side load of the weight anyway. If the little set screw holds it in place then the plastic washers from Ace should work. I was going to try them tomorrow anyway.

I'm looking for the plastic/composite spacers from the aftermarket that go on either side of the primary weights and eliminate the need for the set-screw. Anyone have any contact info?

use plastic spacers off a comet 4 post. this is what i have used since 05.

After the spacers are installed and the set-screw taken out then the clutch weight pin could possably rotate and keep from wearing the pin out in one spot. That and I'm tired of the tiny set screws anytime I want to change weights.
