power valve delete?

A friend of mine has an 05 KK efi that seems to have lost some power. After looking around under the hood I noticed that the servomotor for the power valves isn't working. We called the mechanic at the local dealer and he walked us through the testing process for the stator, servomotor and ecu and everything tested ok. He seems to think the servomotor is bad but could be the ecu not giving it a signal. All this to say, rather than replace a bunch of expensive parts that may or may not be bad is there an affordable delete kit available or is this even possible?

If nothing else, you can just pull them open and zip tie them there. You can also take them apart and put shims under them to block them open.

There are also a couple delete kits around. http://www.bd-xtreme.com/bdxpowervalveplus700cc-1-1.aspx

That one doesn't list the 900, but I'm pretty sure I've seen people talk about it.

These are also an option, but more expensive:

The valves really do help the bottom end, so if it's not too bad, I would try to get them working correctly.

Thanks for the info, I'll pass it on. The season is almost over here so if he gets one more ride I'll have him wire them open and see what happens.
