I've been contemplating the same thing, I am holding off for now at least because it is a new track design and should there be any problems a ported track would not be covered on warranty.

We have ported ours with no issues, granted less than 500 miles so far but we did:

Center not over wheels, 2
then
Center 1 then 1 each on the outside of rail. (oustide of rail not necessary)

Sleds are 2-1200's and 1-M8 Turbo.

Ported mine with the BDX porting tool. Very slick and fast!!!! It took me 40 minutes to do my 153. Mine just has two holes down the middle, offset, so the rear wheels don't run thru them.

well after the first ride with the PC i didn't see any reason to port it to be honest with ya...we were in nut deep powder and never had a problem with snow evac, and its already a bit lighter than the A20. have you ported yours rixter? our sleds are damn near identical....if you have let me know if it made that much of a difference

The snow evac is kinda 2nd to me. It seems that the track rolls smoother with the porting. Plus all that work for 1.6lbs is worth it!!!!;)
