new fuel pump in old sled

ive put a new fuel pump out of a m8 in the KK, but i have an old 580ext that i use to dodge cow turds but the fuel pump went out, can a guy put a new pump in a 96 580 ext efi

I'm not 100% sure, but I bet you could. It won't fit in the tank the same (square hole vs round) but I bet it would work if you got that figured out.

if a guy broke it down to just the pump itself and not any of the mount/hose and stuff it should fit in the lil doohikkey that holds the pump, i would think
