Looking to reduce ski pressure on a 07 M1000, I was thinking of just drilling the bottom hole in the front of the tunnel and lowering the skid, any thoughts or concerns??

what suspension, fox float?

Let some air out of your back shock, your too stiff. I assume your limiters are all the way loose.

Standard not the fox floats, and yes my limiter straps are let out all the way, and I have adjusted the front shock to take up some slack, and the back is on the lowest setting

geo only has a mod for the 08. He recomends a new suspension on the 07. I put my front arm in the bottom hole and helped alot. Then i put a rear shock off of a 05 m7 to get it to transfer right. The rear shock is valved way to stiff on the 07. I felt the shock helped the most seems to transfer realy smooth and get up on the snow quiker instead of trenching.

lower the front of the skid by drilling out the lower hole in the tunnel. then get the rear skid shock revalved by Holz. $45 or so. Should help a ton.

Don't do any of the Geo mods to your skid, they don't apply to 07s.
