Need help with tether kill switches 09 switchback 600

Hello, I have a 2009 Polaris switchback 600 electric start and I want to install a tether kill switch but I don't know what to buy, is my sled open or closed circuit with the electric start and do I need a special one because of the electric start or not, links would be very helpful. Thanks,

if you close the circuit it will kill the engine. its the same on all Polaris sleds including electric start models

if you get a polaris tether it plugs right in, there is a black plastic connector under the console that has a black and brown wire in it. it plugs into that

Last question, is it a dash install or handle bar install and if dash do I have to cut a hole in my sled and where????

dash, just drill a hole and put it where your knee won't hit it

you can get a bar mount one thats aftermarket and just spade connectors on it. I can't remember if you would need male or female connectors though
