What pipes did you put on it and who cut them to fit the chassis?

Are you running an airbox? Is the timing advanced 4 degrees or left stock?

What's the history of the motor? What year, DET or not, etc.

What are you running for jetting, including which needles are you running in it?

Timing is set by turning the stator plate under the flywheel. Carl's recommends 4 degrees of advance.

But I'm betting it's a jetting issue. My 910 will handle quite a bit of extra fuel right up to a point, then it loads up bad.

I just had the exact same problem! Mine ran really strong on the trail as soon as I climbed one hill with powder it would load up with gas and foul plugs. Elevation was 7700' to 10500'. Did exactly what Carls cycle recommended for carb/clutch set up. What plugs are we suppose to use? I have BR9ES and I think it came with BR9ESG. Thanks

At 9000 feet and above you are at 410/420? You need to check the needles.

I run the '04 and newer ('03 Escape as well) needles. At 8000 to 10000 feet I'm at 380/390 with 20% av gas and that is spot on.

Run the champion plugs, 57YCC.

Again, mine is in an Edge chassis. I run at 8-11k in Utah.

380/390 mains, needle in #2, air screw 1 turn, fuel screw 1 3/4. You can't have too many vents in it and you absolutely need a good exhaust deflector.

Make sure you have the later needles if you use my jetting because the '02 needles are really lean. I'm also running bored carbs.

I don't know how this all translates to the 910 in an IQ.
