I grease my bottom joint at the start of the season and have no trouble with it. I did bend my stock post, so I will be going with a forward post in the off season.

Hey Kurt,

Yeah the upper part where the post is mounted is loose. I should replace those bushings and I probably should have put a ****load of grease down the post to lube that joint up, especially after what happened the first time.
