So a few days ago I broke my throttle lever. How do you but it back on...I have all of the cables and heater moved over but how do you get the pin back in between the caps? Do you just kind of pry the lever apart and push it in? Are there some special tricks people have found? I just dont want to break the lever while putting it on. Let me know. Thanks

No trick...

Put the pin through the block.
Put both caps on.
Put the lower ear of the throttle on first and then pull it up just enough to get it over the top cap.
Probably better if it's in a warm garage.

I always carry a spare now.
But you can ride out with half a throttle and duct tape:

Thats exactly how mine was broke...I ended up taping a bottle opener across the top to ive it a little more support so I didnt break it off the bottom and so I could ride the rest of the day. Thanks for the tips.
