M1000 Cracked Helix!!! Any suggestions??

Somehow I cracked/broke the helix on my sled today in the middle of a climb. It's an 07 M1000, 3 post primary with 77.5g weights, stock secondary with a few extra shims. Anybody else have this problem? What are some suggestions on replacement, stay stock or go aftermarket?

I've broke two in approx. 2300 miles. The stock helix is junk.

Just curious what would cause the helix to crack? Could it be the extra shims? Are you talking about the black platic ones inside the helix? BDX says to run 2. That's what was in my 07 M1000 stock.

you need to put the 80 gram weights back in it and run a 40 degree helix with a few other goodies pm me I can help.
