Hey.......bring one of those by the shop so I can give it a test ride, not sure kids like you ought to be playing with that kind power without a thorough checkout spin.

Just for everyone to know... that Z1 turbo that Kevin built is the coolest sounding internal combustion engine I have ever heard. Sounds like a YZF 450 on steroids with a distinct whistle. Awesome! I will buy one the day they weigh 500 pounds.

What do they weigh?

I wonder if it would be a pig in the powder or flat out float?
I bet it would be a bee-otch to dig out...

I was thinking myself about long tracking the 2010 Z1 ext with the optional 162 kit offered in the parts catalog.

Sure looks sweet.

looks cool, but whats the weight??? if its only 170ishhp and weighs a ton more than an M1000 why??? what does the thing cost??? seems like a lot of work and money for a novelty sled. don't get me wrong if you've got the money and time great, but if your sinking your hard earned cash into your only sled for the coin i think you can do much better...

With very little mods the Z1 can put out a lot more power, if you compare this to a stock nitro it could be a significant improvement for not much $$ whereas the nitro need $6k+ to be worth a crap.

I think the guys that are 4 stroke are 4 stroke, they're not even comparing to our sleds really.

Changing a back 1/2 of tunnel & the track/rails is pretty cheap really, I wouldn't think this would be too pricey of a sled.

Edit: just read post above, compare 12k for 280hp to a nitro for how much?? That's not bad! Still not going to buy one, but not bad all the same!
