know any tricks to patch seats?

i ripped my seat a little, 2 rips about an inch or two long, this year and i don't really feel like shelling out $500 for a boss seat quite yet. any of you have any tricks to fix the rips without the seat looking retarded?

I have used an automotive vinyl patch. It work very well. It looks great on a black seat. I didn't try to match any of the color on the seat though.

Spread the rips open a little and squirt black silicon in there, Then tape the whole area back together for a few days. Remove tape and it should be good to go.

black GORRILLA duct tape...incredibly tough and sticky

I have just used black duct tape. I don't care what it looks like when I'm riding it.

Black windsheild urathane works excelent. Tough and flexable.

Ditto on the vinyl repair. Permatex brand. You use a hot iron to basically weld it all back together. Hardly tell it's repaired if you do it right.

its called "the right stuff"
so far I have used in on my Apex, my crf, my king cat, and any thing else that needs a lil seat repair.
its a bit spendy at 16 bucks but totatlly worth it.

I have lots of stock seats 65 shipped for colored and 85 for the black Nigtfire and boss seat are only 399.95 now for the new ones. 295 for the 2010 seats
