I need to know what the jetting is for 900' for my 2003 Edge X 700 with SLP Pipe and Can. Also have SLP Hi flow air box and horn. Im running 470 for jets currently with #3 needle position with stock pilots.

It doesnt seem to have much torque on the take off.:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;

It sounds like you may be running a little lean, but that shouldn't be causing any major problems.Are the carbs synced correctly?

I am running the same setup with a 500 main jet (700ft), but mine is a 2002 which has a different carb needle. I would suggest you buy the 2002 needle and jet 490 to 500 with the needle in the 3.5 position. (that is 3rd with a .020 washer). Sled pulls hard and gets 12mpg playing chase in the trails. Also check your TPS - should be 4.0 to 4.3. I run 91 to 93 fuel and run 4.3 and with the needle in the 3.5 position and I don't get the mid-throttle rattle that will destroy the motor. My friends with 03 to 05 Edges have changed to the 02 needle and like the way the motor runs. Also, I run with the key in the "Reg" position normal hard riding --- when lining up with my friends I switch the key to "Prem" position which advances the timing a couple of degrees.

keep what you have except go to position 2 and turn your air screws to 1 turn out.( Be very gentle with these and your fuel screws as well. ) Your fuel screws can be set to 2.5 turns out. Now it should rich on the low end when you let it idle and try to take off it should stumble slightly. if that is the case turn the screws out another .25 turn and try again. You want to sneak up on it until you get it to not load up anymore. (Mine ended up at 1.5 on my 03 800 and 1.75 on my 04 700) . Keep an eye on your plugs and take some readings. Also go to a lighter exhaust valve spring. at least a pink. This works real good on the 2003-05 carb setup and you don't have to change primary jets either. also you may end up with 460's easy enough......
