i got a ?? about the secondary clutch on a 06 m7

i am new to the cat world and was wondering if there is any way to get the secondary clutch off with out buying the puller or if the puller is a must? i took the bolt out and it seems to be stuck on the shaft pretty good. i tried putting a pry bar behind it and taping the bar with a hammer but didn't dare to hit it anymore don't wanna damage the clutch.

Gently with the pry bar right next to the dd worked for me. Mine was stuck the first time also and always required light leverage. I coated the shaft with antiseize after the first removal.
