How do you replace the dimmer button on an 06 M7?

What do you mean snap in? I did mine last summer and you have to completely remove the switch from the plastic housing and I thought it slides in place. Then reinstall the switch.

The dealer told me you could put it in there and twist, but i cant get it to work.

To replace mine I had to take it apart...

mine broke, figured it had to be taken apart and didnt wanna pay for a switch to just brake again so i just threaded a small screw in the rubber part and called it good. works like new.
