Help with carb re-install on '07 Summit X 159 (have pic ! )

Hi I took the carbs off to inspect. They were sparkling clean. Good. but sometimes it quits when idling.



Putting it back together there's a nipple with no hose in the vicinity.
Can someone tell me the name of the componrent?
And also if this nipple has a hose, or is just line the pic, (no hose)

If there's a hose, where does it come from?

Or, does anyone have a link to a diagram of where the hoses go in this sled?

Tryin' to get it back together & start it.

That nipple stays open to air. It is a solenoid for the exhaust valve system.
