Gen2 93 580 triple

So my buddy sold me this 2001 rmk 700 136 that the previous owner before him slapped a triple 580 from I believe a 93 xlt. For whatever reason they never put an overflow bottle or recovery tank for the coolant on it.. any ideas on building my own

I would just buy the stock oil tank/coolant bottle instead of messing around. Looks like they cut off the coolant bottle for some reason on your sled.
Quite a few on EBAY . They are the same unit for 600, 700 and 800 from 1999 to 2001 I believe.

Do you think it would clear the mag side carb?? How about the 580 water pump is it rebuildable??

I don't know how much clearance you have so it may be why they cut it off. I remember trying to find rebuild kits for the XLT back in the day but there were none at the time. I ended up just getting a used one.

A ski doo rev tank would work. Run that coolant line a bit lower and just zip tie the bottle to something.
