Seems like I saw on here that there was a forum member selling a good rope for the 900 cats. Can anyone tell me who it was? Broke mine last ride out. Thanks!

Has some super strong wax rope he uses/sells for big bore machines.

We us it on the 503F's, pull harder than the liquid Hawks their original pull cords fray as they cut body pastic.

Take your old rope to a local outdoor/climbing store and get the same diameter rope that rock climbers use. I did this on a 2003 900 M1 after it broke the first year and haven't had any problems since! The color of this specific rope was red, black and white. Hope this helps.

go to the following site, the factory cord is rated somewhere near 800 lbs, 5mm climbing cord is rated at about 1100 lbs. this 5.5mm cord is rated at 13700 N or approx 3080 lbs!!!!!

I would keep searching for the 5mm as this link is for 5.5mm. you will wear the sheathing out long before it breaks. if you pay $.50 a foot then it is not the right stuff it just looks like it. you will pay approx $2 a foot for the good stuff.

or put a new temp sensor in it so you don't have to pull your guts out!!!

hows the shin???

Heading out to Woodies here shortly to get the sensor. Shin is good enough for an MX ride this weekend. Still can't imagine having it on the seat all day so sledding is out for another week or so....:(
