Anybody been around one these in the mountains?

will they go good enough in the deep to not drive you crazy having to dig it out?

I'll never quit snowbiking, but thinking about adding a sled again for family or friends to poke around on, or possibly dragging a broke bike out. Originally focused on 175 or 165 three inch, but if the Expedition would go good enough it might be a better choice for family or friends.

Realize a 175 might be the thing to get a broken bike out of a terrible spot, but i doubt i could ride good enough to get it to a bad spot anyways. So?

They are impressive for what they are but both the expedition extreme and the top tier titan are no where close to a mountain sled in terms of capabilities. Helped get a few titans unstuck and they’re incredibly heavy compared to current mountain sleds. If you’re looking for one just for towing out broken snow bikes and little rides it would work great. Just don’t go into it thinking you’re going to be able to pull lines that guys on mountain sleds are.

Yup, 200 lbs give or take does sound like work digging. But lots of positives too, like the radiator for spring riding.

Thing being able to go 90 on the trail maybe not so good. Then they'll get farther before they get stuck.
