Ive heard alot of people say that the engine problem on 08-09 dragons has to do with it running lean at mid range. Also hear that a PCIII or BD control box can fix this to make it run better. Well does any one know at what rpms it starts to run bad?

I have a PC III on my 2007 D-7, I'm @ 5-7% RICHER in the mid range, prior to that my sled would almost "shut off" with the stock set-up in the mid-range.

Surprisingly, mileage did NOT suffer with the PC III

That does help, I rarely ride in that range but if your gonna spend this much on a sled why not spend a few extra dollars to make it less prone to breaking.
