egt or air fuel guage?

which one would you buy first? going to buy one of them just wondering what works better for tuning the sled and your reasons. I have m7 w/ rkt 8 bb and a boondocker box.

I personally still like the egt's, I tried the afr this year and it worked ok, I was just always having a problem with them. Although I am probably a little bias because I have been using egt's for years and just seems easier for me.

Egt's are usually less expensive but the readings can be misleading at times.
That being said I am far from an expert!

anybody else have trouble w/ the air fuel for tuning? I know the egt's just want to see if the a/f is worth the money or stick with the old school first.

I have both, If I had to choose one it would have to be a good A/F gauge. Way more accurate, less guessing. With an egt you could have different temps depending on probe placement. The best is both, each compliment the other
