Decode VIN to get sled model #

Anyone know if you can decode a sleds VIN to get sled model #?

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find my wifes '02 600 RMK 144" in any online polaris parts listings. They show a '03 600 RMK 144 but not a '02. I checked the title and its indeed an 02... checked the sleds VIN tag but the model is worn off and not readable.
