Can an ECU go out for 1 cylinder?

I pulled a M7 Cat ECU from another sled that completely roasted the PTO side... and I put it in my M turbo, and it didnt get any fuel over there and was ULTRA lean...(read: smoked it.)

Can an ECU burn weak to one side? Was wondering if this is a possibility?

I have had an ECU in the past that ran, but would run VERY poorly (pops, farts, hickups and ultimately wouldnt rev) but I had broken the tabs off the side and exposed some circuits, so I know that one "goes bad" they dont always necessarily "go out".

The injector line can go bad. ECU controls the injector feed to each side.

Understood, but, the ECU was moved from sled to another sled. Could just be coincidence, however.

Have you tried switching the injectors around to see if that makes a difference? Also have you checked your fuel pressure? I don't like coincidences!
