BRV line routing/backfiring

I just got a 12' M1100T. I know I need the EVO BRV but the lady said no more spending. I'm having a bad popping backfire at and over 7200 on stock level and 6800+ on 210/230 level on SpeedWerx tuning. The BRV line was off but coulda came off pulling hood idk. How does Stock solenoid routing go. My inter cooler line was in Top and BRV was in side(top)

I checked boost hoses all seemed good(Bikeman aluminum) changing fuel filter but seemed to flow well.

Check / replace plugs.

Sounds like you're blowing out the flame front under boost. Find a pair of NGK CR9EB plugs, and install them, gapped at .020".

Yep, plugs and check the fuel filter. The filter is probably due if it hasn't been changed. I don't have the number in front of me but you can get it at napa. Same filter and way way cheaper than Cat.

So correctly routed BRV(brv hose to top of solenoid) ,new filter, and plugs gapped to .020/.022. And she seems to like life now. Only road tested so far hittin the mountain this weekend

Specifically at 7200 is 99% of the time plugs. With the Evo 215-220 flash those plugs only had to be gapped at 25 but every flash is different.

My first M11T had EVO 215. And was awesome. This one has SpeedWerx and after riding both no question I will be going back to EVO and maybe even a Big Chute. And the Guys at EVO are super helpful and Friendly.
