Does anyone have a nice semi good list of people who make big bores for newer 800s say an 09 D8? Maybe im not looking hard but all ive seen is Carls and the swedish one in this post, and that web site is written in jibbersih.

That's possible, but the Polaris base gasket is black. If it is in fact the gasket you see on top of the crankcase, then it is made from different material, possibly silver/grey colored paper.

Not true. The base gasket is not black, it is a grayish silver metal.
