I was thinking about buying one for my 07 M8, I found everything I need but when looking at the adapter cables they specify only for 07 M8/M1000. What about the 08-2010 models? Do they not need this to check stored fault codes if this is true I might as well buy a 08 ECM instead can anybody help on this? so far I have found the Laptop test kit and cables to do both the ECM and the CCU for about $650 does anybody know where I could find it cheaper?
