Advice on doing a top end rebuild on a 700

I've got an 03 RMK 700 that I'm contenplating doing a top end rebuild and I'm looking for advice on what to look for and do. The sled has 2200 miles on it and I've noticed it smoking more on start up the last couple of years and maybe a slight loss of power too. From others' experience what should I expect to find when I open up the motor, if the cylinders aren't scratched am I looking at just a set of rings, or will I need pistons and the cylinders refinished?

Also I saw that Wiseco makes a set of big bore pistons, 754cc, for this. What would it take to put them in, can the existing cylinders be overbored that much?

Anything else you would recomend doing while I'm into the engine?
