You sure don't see those kind of miles on these new $12,500 sleds.
And before someone says it, yeah the 97 may not handle as well but when you haul these things 1,100 miles to ride and are lucky to get to go once a year, reliability is top priority. Afterall, a lead sled is better than a dead sled.
Think I'll be sticking with the old iron until Poo quits making doo..
