i just finished a rebuild on a 94 zr700 and i have a pretty bad bog when the clutch engages..

i am at 5000ft (parking lot) and ride 5000-8000ft..

i have 340 mains in it now for the parking lot testing..

needle is on middle clip, a/f screw is 1 turn out

the bog is so severe that the sled either will slip the belt, or bog so bad it wont even move..

carbs are good, so i am thinking the clutch needs a rebuild..i never touched it last year when we got it and i know the guy we got it from didnt touch it the prior year..

would primary/secondary springs being sagged from age cause this..
the weights do move slightly which i would think needs new bushings..

i do not have a clutching chart or jetting chart for it..any help would be extrememly greatful..

thanks in advance guys!:beer;

New primary spring would be beneficial. So would rollers and bushings throughout.
If that doesn't help, what tubes do you have in the carbs? I run AA-0's or AA-1's depending on where I am. I also run UFO's and have the carb intakes shaved down so the carbs mount closer to the motor.
