Just thought I would throw it out there for knowledge sake that I successfully installed a 2019 MBRP stainless Quiet series 850 muffler on my '17 Assault 800 144. I had to swap out the chassis stiffener/muffler mount for the 850 unit, bit it fit like a glove. After that, the can slipped right into place and the tuned pipe mated up perfectly as well. The spring tabs at the muffler to tuned pipe junction are positioned a bit differently on the can, but I used two nails and bent up some spring extenders and was able to hook them up just fine. I know this muffler isn't "tuned" to the 800, but I have no doubt that it will work fine.
