Need some help
I have a friend who has a mtn cat 800 with the following mods
156 camo
1.5 inch set back
d and d pipe
stock can
cutler set up in the clutches for 8-10,000 ft
Here are the issues
Powder- cutting out, seems to be pulling snow in some place
trenching- This thing doesnt climb for crap, I have the front spring soft and rear middle setting. It seems the rear skid in binding, not allowing to compress, I am thinking it is a problem with the set back?
Clutches- engages at 5k,,,,and hard hit.
Secondary clutch - in the powder it seems to be sticking open at low speeds.
Doesnt seem to aloow smooth backshifting
I noticed it seems the belt was tight on the primary bushing, like the center to center is too far.
I guess I am looking for advice on how to get this thing right, sled only has 1100 miles on it
I will get the clutch set up for your review
