I am having problems with a 2000 rmk 500. Looking for ideas, it runs good until it gets hot. then it starts firing on one cylinder for a while and then dies compleatly.
When the sled dies, pull the plugs, reconnect the plug wires and pull the engine over (key on). No spark, ignition issues; got spark, look into the fuel system. Get a good manual, talk to your favorite mechanic and start the process of checking things out. Sounds like an electrical gremlin at work to me. So what componet will go bad if heated up?
