08 with power claw track or 09

I told my dad to order me the new power claw track for my M8 08 but I was wondering does anyone know if it would be the same as the 09 M8 or would there be much of a difference? Also I figured paying only 550 dollars for the track compared to buying a new 09 M8 would be better and easier. Also I have rode the new 09 and liked it but I was just wondering about putting the track on the 08. Thank you.

You would still be better off going with the 09 and losing the 22 pounds, better fuel mapping, etc .yes the power claw track is the same for all arctic cat 153 M series sleds 05-10'.

you put the pclaw track on your 08 you'll be impressed.

Now......spending another 5000 to get the 09..........well go 2010, 09 is old style now. Nothing like a NEW SLED that's not just a repaint of last year.

The biggest improvment from the 08 to 09 is the track........performance wise.
Put the 08 track on an 09 you will have a lighter bow wow.

So if its a money isse, you got'er done for $500. If not..........get the 010.

Now.........everything you had to fix on your 05m7........you still have to fix on the 010...........well jury still out on the seat.

Electronic Reverse.

Remember the electronic reverse on the '09 and '10 compared to the heavier electronic manual shift on the '08. Also, if you are concerned you would have a warranty on the '10 and possibly get one on an'09-at least a year.

Ok thanks for the info. Yeah im going to buy a 10 but not tell next fall because yes im out of money for a new machine, but ill have the money next fall so than like i said ill get a 10. Thanks.

I put the P/C on my 07 m8 141" and it rocks, best mod I've ever done. imo wait and get a '10 a bit lighter and more ponies...

If you're wanting a new track, skip right over the powerclaw, and get the camoplast extreme. The powerclaw does not deserve all of the hype.

I cant talk for the extreme but I just put the powder claw on and it made all the difference in the world. I would highly recomend it.
