08, m8, speedwerks, ecu 2-1 issue

2008 m8, speedwerks y-pipe, pipe and silencer, stock air intake, boondocker etc...I cannot get rid of the dreaded ecu 2-1 knock sensor failure code. Code flashes at w.o.t. only...I did change out both the ecu and the knock sensor with no luck...Any suggestions ???? Thanks !

Killer...Have you tried an SLP pipe at all ?...Just wondering if this may be the fix ???

High teens for #'s in "high" range...Another question...What's the difference between ecu 2-1 ( knock sensor failure ) and ecu 2-3 ( Knock sensor activated ) I understand that the code 2-3 is telling you that the timing is being retarded, but what causes ecu 2-1 to flash ?

2-1 the sensor it self is gone/defect.2-3 is flasshing when it sens knock and retard the timing.
