07/08 M1000 Update Kits Now Available

The update kits are out as of today. There are two different kits depending on 07-08 models. Applicable sleds are Crossfire and M 1000cc. ECU will be reflashed at your dealer as well as additonal parts for the stock exhaust and intake system.

Service Bulletin states the kits are to enhance the performance in deep snow and side hilling of the sleds in STOCK configuration.

Parts were available at A-Cat when I checked today.

I don't know everything in there but I would think it is the stuff to make it like an 09 model.

If there is a longer exhaust deflector, I would take one of those.

if this update really does include a reflash ( to make it like 09), has anyone had both an 07 m1000 and an 09 m1000? was the flash better? don't want to get the sled reflashed only to have it run worse.

Per my dealer today this is a free recall and is supposed to solve the high altitude running issues as well as deep snow problems. It is an updated ECU programming with some exhaust shield and intake mods.

Lets hope this is the solution for us 07 guys with issues.

Did the 07 M1000 update.....What a chit show...Went from a perfectly running sled to a prayer and a hope....Dealer is mystified, they just keep replacing parts hoping they find the problem......4 year warrenty.

Did the 08/M8 update, very reluctantly after the experience with M1000. Sled runs a good and back fire when shutting down is GONE
