I currently own an 06 Crossfire 600 and I really like the sled. What I don't like is no reverse. I am seriously considering an 06 M7. Can these take a reverse? I think the Crossfire wouldn't take a reverse due to space issues and the new D&D. Are the 06 M7's the same no reverse option or can I put a reverse in her?

Adding reverse to those "first-gen" M/CFs is technically possible with enough cutting, hacking, wiring, new main harness, CCU, ECU, etc. (expensive money pit).
The better option - Find a nice used '07 or '08 M8. More torque and burns less fuel than a 7.
