05 M7 Running too rich?

I dont know too much about snowmobiles, but it seems like my m7 is running rich. after i ride for an hour or so i shut it off, and when i go back to start it, everyonce in awhile it will backfire out the exhaust, but not everytime , i changed the plugs, any help would be apreciated. thanks

05 m7 were the first production year for the m series. They mapped the 05's with rich maps to help protect from leaned burned downs. If you go to any cat dealer you can have your ECM sent in to get the updated 06 program, which is leaner than the 05. There is always the option ofcourse to get a boondocker box and lean it out yourself.
