Just split the cases and have a reputable shop line bore them and go though the bearings. If the pto bearing falls off the shaft you will have to buy a new crank. I believe case support is of utmost importance. Lots of theories on here though. My .02

From what everyone says don't waste your time send it off to Indy Dan and be done with it. We had one just done from slp and it went down with under 500 miles on it and they say tuff luck.
