02 mtn cat 800 and 600 efi fuel pump ?

Could someone tell me the difference between a 800 & 600 fuel pump. The 600 has an extra line on top and I see in parts diagram the 800 has a regulator under it. Someone stole my friends seat and fuel tank with the pump in it. He bought a blown up identical 600 for tank and seat and hopefully the fuel pump, his is an 800. Thanks for any help on this.

You will need to add a regulator to the the fuel rail like the 600 has. You can add an adjustable one to it. But you have to have a regulator.

Thanks for info. Do you know could the reg and rail be used from the 600 on the 800. If not are there any aftermarket regulators out there. Thanks for info
