well here it is, the precious in all her polished glory!!! this is the tunnel set-up to have. for less than $400 and a couple of days time you can have a tunnel that is just as good as any $2,000 aftermarket one. $150 for the nosno's, $200 for the black diamond extreme bumper kit, $30 for the led taillight. bumper kit is very slick, the kickups are machined billet, the bumper is hollow with a channel for the bottom of the tunnel to sit in, both these combine to make the tunnel stiffer than it was stock. rode for the first time last weekend in 2-3 feet of fresh and was VERY impressed. you can really feel the difference of not having the rear boards dragging, can switch directions when heading up the hill and not worry about scrubbing speed. the thing will cut uphill twice as fast, one thing i'm getting adjusted to:) i got rid of the snowflap, was not impressed with bde's way of attaching and leaving the flap to lay on the heat exchanger. not having the flap is great when digging out, also always felt the flap dragging scrubs speed big time when you start to trench. customized the heck out of the stock bumper, but it sure looks slick! was worried about the tunnel cracking in the rear from the snowflap bouncing all the time. was also worried about snow flying out the back but does not throw anymore snow without the flap than with. this setup gives good support to the rear of the tunnel and also gives great protection to the heat exchanger. took part of the tunnel i cut off and made the mounting plate for the taillight, the bend in the tunnel is just about right for the bend in the stock bumper where the stock taillight used to sit. just a little massageing and you get a nice factory look:) will take some more pics this weekend when i have it outside so you can see all my hard work better:) one problem with the bde kit, the bumper rubs againts the heat exchanger tubes. mine did on both sides, clamped it to a board and heated it, then took a pipe and a clamp and made a wow on both insides of the bumper to miss the tubes. this is a must!!! can't imagine it taking very long for it to rub holes through the tubes, the bumper could be made a little cleaner. divets where they put it in the crimper where they bend it. for the money i'll gaurantee it will put a huge smile on your face, i know it did mine:)

have problems sometimes loosing my post when i add pics so thought i'd post them seperate!!!

my buddy put one of those bumber kits onn a month ago and it really made a difference in the apperance as well as stiffing the running boards up 100 fold as for the snow flap i came up with the idea to do the same thing to his stock bumber as well except we used the stock flap to it turned out great and looks like a factory job.
Good job looks great all polished up

BDX Kit

I also put on on my M1K last month and the main Issue is Like Sand Man said the heat exchanger tubes rubbing on the inside of the bumper-
Need to find a way to support the heat exchanger and stop the rubbing- Sand MAn I would like to know in detail what you did to help this Issue

I cut off the angled peice on the bottom of the supports you don't need that tab hanging down-
I installed this in about 3 hours tops- and I used a 11 light LEd from LED taillights- it comes with you own mounting bracket so you don't have to hack up the stock one.

What a blow off- they mean well and say alot- but do not follow through AT ALL
Also told them that the 07 supports are cut to wide
My response was that these were a general fit for all M sleds... THATS really nice!

Yes you could but if you look at the side profile you would have the bumper below or level with the heat exchanger.Almost lower bumper height as the stock unit defeating the purpose. You can get as wild or mild as you want with the dergree of taper.

Thinking of taking the bumper off and getting some cold rolled and layin it out and giving it a tender good wack and conform the inside to the OD of the tube that is rubbing- also the hose porton that hold the exchanger correct ( one on both sides) now allows the entire exchanger to move up and down about 1/4"- That 4-sure needs corrected....

Still a good conversion for the $$$ just a few snags that were overlooked-but needs BDX's attention!!!!!

Installed mine this weekend. Went pretty smooth. Mine also rubs a little bit, but I don't think its going to be a problem. Also put the two-wheel kit on.

that kit looks awsome guys im going to have to get me one of those. are the rear foot rests rugged enough to put your weight on them???
