Couple of tips if you're selling something:

*Check your post and answer questions.
*Learn how to post pics...if you dont know how, then ask!!
*Dont make your potential buyers work for info...if they have to work at it, you have lost a sale. :face-icon-small-con

Seems to be a rash of sellers that think it's the buyers responsibility to get info on the item. ??? If I'm looking for something and the seller cant even answer a question...I'm done and dealing with someone else.

Rant over....sell on!! ;) :D

And if your buying read the add. Half the questions asked are answered in the original post, dont be lazy!

Good post...agree 100%. So many for sale ads that read like: "05 polaris, can risers, piped good shape aight peace"

On the other hand, I've posted countless ads in local classifieds like: " 1998 Toyota Tacoma SR5 X-cab. 4x4, V6, 5spd, 140,000kms. PW, PL, A/C, tow package, green. $XXXXX, phone XXX-XXXX"

And you get 10 emails like: "ya what colour, how many miles, does it have A/C, best price???"

before you get all proud of yourself, you may want to look at your ad again. It lacks the location of the vehicle.

The local papers don't reach all that far....anyways, I'm not all that proud I was just making a comical observation

Agreed, location, price, condition, cost of shipping included or not(USPS is cheapest to ship), payment accepted, pic's posted or emailed on request.
Buyers, don't waste the seller's time by lowballing either, I won't sell to a lowball offer.

in addition to location, price, miles, quality pictures, and contact information like a phone number i admire when a seller lets you know what, if anything, is wrong with it now or previously, and what kind of riding it was used for and if they are the original owner. Original engine, trailing arms, belly pan and hood is good to know too. Any and all mods should be outlined in detail. For sleds, clutching and carb specs are nice to know.

Couldn't agree more. I stated the exact same thing last week to a seller on a sled listed for sale. Depends on how bad/quick you want to sell it I guess.

I posted a sled for sale last week on here. Took maybe 10 minutes to post all of the info. in detail and a pic. Received a call that night and he picked it up the next. I was trying to find an M8 to buy and was a little frustatred with the lack of info in ads and no pics. Needless to say , found one on CraigsList.

For Sale!!!
