Here is a prototype of the steering post bushing modification. It uses the factory steering post block and modifies it to allow the use of a replaceable delrin bushing. Delrin is stronger and will outlast the factory nylon blocks. I am estimating this mod will last about twice what the factory blocks last. When they do wear out, I will be selling the bushings separately for far less than the blocks would cost. The initial purchase of the 3 modified blocks with bushings will cost $75. The replacement bushings should run around $20.
