Hi guys,
This is just a FYI,
I learned of a problem with the 2013 Silber Pro RMK kits that I though some of you might be interested in knowing about. I did not see any other posts talking about the issue so thought someone may chime in and help out with info. I was helping a buddy out and learned of the possible issue.
I dont have all the specific details but here is what I know.
Some of the kits had a wiring harness wiring error causing the boost sensor not to send a signal to the controller so the secondary injectors do not kick-in under boost. I understand you can tell the injectors are not working because under boost the "blue" light will not come on???
I don't have the specific details of the pin-outs but it is the connector that attaches to the airbox sensor (the one that is pre-installed in the kit airbox).
2 of the wires are switched around in some cases.
I don't have a picture to share but I am sure somoene can help out with the pinouts or a pictrue from a good running sled.
The buddy I was helping could not get the sled to run with the supplied tuning numbers so we had to max out the Red to keep it from detonating under boost.
I guess we were very lucky not to have broke the pistions because of the detonation issue - however we did have spark plugs unscrew and one of them broke the porcelain top!.
Hope this helps someone.
