Boss sent me a seat that was not built well. I fixed a few seams myself and attempted to install it only to have another much more important seam come undone. They said I had to pay shipping to get it fixed. Keep in mind brand new not used. I told them it is cheaper to pay a local shop to fix it and they should reimburse me to do so. Not an option. I took it to Alaska Tent and Tarp and they fixed it in two minutes free of charge, Now that’s customer service. Boss will not get my business again and I hope others will think twice before buying from them. At the very least ask them before you buy what will happen if you receive your "NEW" product damaged. Will you have to pay to ship it back to them to repair it?

PAR... thats sweet especialy now that all seats are exactly the same, no more custom stuff. yours looks just like mine, mine looks just like yours

How long til some one else makes a seat that is good looking and functional. not like a covered square foam pad. boss definatly has a monoply in the custom seat department.

Hey at least your getting them this year, every other year there's guys ordering and paying for them in June and July, and not getting them until the next June or July.

Yea, i just lost all of my respect for BOSS. well for their seats at least. I was gonna fork over the $500+ this year for a high top seat to match my orange sled. BUTTT they done have CUSTOM seats anymore. So they dont get my business. What i dont get is why they call their seats custom seats when half of them are made in china?>??

Thanks for the info on that. If you can't even get it fixed with free return shipping on something you just received from them with problems........ridiculous. I was going to order one this year, not now. Sounds like they don't care about their customers, problem is a few post's later and they've lost sales over this.

I warned them

I even told the guy that I was going to blast them on snowest and dootalk if they didnt make it right. I guess he didnt care, or didnt realize that this community is really about helping each other and people on here respect other peoples opinions, and pay attention. Thanks for the support guys and gals.

Just tried to get mine to fit better. the strap that goes under the tank is too small , wont let the seat slide ahead enuff to make a proper fit at the front...POS !!!!

I just got my Wasatch Recreational Products (WRP) seat installed and it is sweet. It is a +2". I will post some pics later when I got a second, but the seat is sweet and uses the stock plastic platform, so fit is perfect. Check them out!

The only problem with the WRP seat is the fact that there is no storage. I just posted on Dootalk on how to install the Boss seat. It took a bit to figure out, but turned out pretty good. I agree, I was expecting better quality, but I guess it is what it is. The fact that their customer service sounds terrible is going to hurt them. I do have to say, though, I love the extra storage... a much lighter pack! The seat holds 2 water bottles and six pack of Canadian Cold Shots perfectly!

It's amazing how much better their quality is compared to the boss seat. Oh ya and they also have great customer service!!!

I have owned Boss seats and would never buy another one.

Not impressed

My brand new one is far from perfect. I am writing a letter to them, before I voice my results online. Hopefully they step up and stand behind their product.

Your right, but I have a Skinz tunnel bag, so seat storage wasn't a huge concern.

Good point, it's alot easier to just lift a bag off your tunnel to do some narly pulls than it is to empty all the pockets on a seat.

Nothing new with Boss. Their service is terrible. I called them about an issue I had last year and they really could care less.

Same as the people i bought it from. I should name who but i won't.

Anyway's Justin at code red performance got me what i wanted and all is well now.

Their seat is the most comfortable by far. Fit is maginal sometimes. I'll bet once all of their patent protections run out they will have to get better in the service dept out of necessity.
