T900 Project partial done with pics

Well finally got some time to work on this thing again and thought I would post some pics. I just put Polz chaincase cover on and it is a super nice product. I also am looking fwd to riding this thing with the wider boards now as well. Last sunday I did get the oil tank done and mounted with exception of the turbo stand which I will weld on this weekend. The storage doors have been removed and I made these screens out of stainless for both sides.

Anyway some update pics.

that's an interesting oil set up.
Are you running someone's kit or are you designing your own Turbo set up?

Doing my own setup. Going to exhuast it out the shock tower like the Cats. BTW, that tank is missing the main inlet pipe from turbo, i just have not placed it and welded it yet.

It has been a challenge but couldnt of done it without Dereks help at Attitude.

oil pump

Just a thought you might want to mount the oil pump so the open end that is up will not fill up with snow or water in the electric motor??

That is a good thought. I mounted it that way so the pump would be below the oil level for easier priming. Your idea makes since but pump style cant be that low the other way. What if I silicone up the end with wires to seal it? Think that will keep to much heat?

With the Torque that the 9 has it ought to be a good turbo bottom end. I've wondered about a 900 cat turbo, never really thought the Poo would hold up. For those Poo9 diehards, more power to you. I'm thinkin M1K w/ a turbo, now that would be cool. And when it don't work, you have Boondockers to blame it on, and not the Head mechanic at Monkey Motors. Fred, if you are doing one, i'm excited for you, hell there isn't no work, ya might as well spend the time bent over a sled. I guess we'll see just how good it runs against my secret setup...:D

Snotel said 27 before the settle at the Trinities, sounds like a good place to go replace some a-arms, possibly a bulkhead. Cheers:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;

cannot wait to see my old pipe on there. And it gets to live on in a kicka$$ sled. Oh BTW did not get the y-pipe in the box I will get that shipped out to you too. Damn teenagers!!!!

i would not seal the pump it would more than likely bearn up.
What if you mounted the pump to the bottom side of the oil res.??
weld tab on to it and then rivet the pump?

I like alot!!!!!!
