Ok looking at getting Muffler for the Nytro. I know alot of people put sport bike exhausts on. Does any exhaust work or is there a certain bike exhaust we should be looking into? Any info would be great. Thanks in advance Phil

this seat and exhaust combo takes several pounds (15+) off the sled and then you have a seat with storage. Go with the YTZ7S battery and that is around 20lbs total off the sled. Works for me

Ya I used this muffler on my PL kit had it dumped under most of season just straight piped though got alittle irratating on trail etc so I used there muffler E&S here fabs them up.. I used the muffler off the apex system though its much lighter and smaller than the one for the nytro, just had to modify the inlet used the stock Yammi muffler inlet and welded it on the apex muffler etc.. Then just cut the end of the PL header where it starts to tip up to go up above the tunnel so its much easier to bend up a piece of tubing to connect the header-muffler..
Works good and easy on the ears now,, sport bike slip-ons are much lighter though but arent as compact as these..
selling mine if you are interested. i have the mountain mod seat, and i love it (not for sale LOL!). gives you better transition from sitting to standing. and a HUGE storage area IN THE SEAT, where yamaha should have a storage spot for us.

Yeah love the seat. Thats the main reason for the undertunnel exhaust but dont care for that exhaust. So does it matter for what bike to get the exhaust for?
My set up. Excell Vector header and 1 3/4" glasspack. If you ride in deep snow the snow deflector really helps.

How big is the stock Header? 1 3/4 like the excell or is it smaller.
