SWEET!!!!:D

I rode that area a couple years ago with HarborDoo--it was great!

Looks like you had plenty of snow---that is great--thanks for the pictures.

H20SKE...

We'll have to get together and ride sometime.I think I met you last year up in Tampico.I live in the Tampico area, we got a decent amount of snow out here with this storm.

Cool, hard to say, there's lots of sledders running around up there for sure, haha

ya, I'm never opposed to riding:D

94fordguy where did you guys unload at

We parked at the Cold Creek lot, there was about 6" there at the time, but I know it has been getting hammered since then.

Top of Section 3 was a blast, can't wait till the boulders get covered so we can do some climbing up there:D:D

Thanks for sharring Pics, great area section3, never could figure out why the forest service put Bear Mountain on Wilderness:( ,what a shame eh!. Cheers Red Dog

ya, that really sucks, but there is still some good riding up there, can't wait till all the land mines get covered, much more peace of mind after we get about another 3 or 4 feet, hopefuly won't be long:D

Went up again Yesterday to Section 3 with Stripe and Sleddude, was neat to run into Cascadesnowjunkie and his group on the trail before heading up to the meadow to find 4' of snow at our post...:D:D

Still not enough snow to get up to the climb, probably won't be till mid January, but had fun playing in the trees and breaking trail for a bit...

Yes, I got stuck breaking trail, but man was it fun in the process:D:D:D

Didn't get up there very early, so of course the meadow was pretty much all tracked up, but we still took a few laps on it on the couple little spots that were left before calling it a day early... it was friggen COLD up there...

Now you guys can't say that I have never had a picture of when I get stuck:p:eek::D

Coming over to Toppenish for the holidays with the in-laws. Bringing the sleds for my 18 year old and I. Is that area accessed from the Atanum, or Naches side? Any suggestions/help appreciated.

Is there enough snow to drop down thru trees from Section 3

We're not getting too crazy on going through the trees just yet, there is for all purposes absolutely NO BASE up there yet, kinda scarey to break trail anywhere that there isn't a road in the summertime. Another good storm or 2 and things will change, but I would not risk it yet, give it another week or 2 and things will be looking a lot better. There may be 4 feet at the very top of the plateau, but there is only 12-18" at the parking lot, so any landmies will be just barely covered... $$$$$

Something to remember:beer;

Gotta take White Pass up to Rimrock lake area, then take the Tieton road to its absolute highest point and there will be a snow park, snow park hidden down a road to the lake side, and the trail goes up the hill on the mountain side...

No hills to climb yet, but trail riding and a meadow or 2 at the top can be a lot of fun for what snow we have to work with...

U have no idea how much I appreciate those pics, haven't been able to get up yet. Has the groomer been out at all? How is the Tieton road, any plowing yet? Anyway I sure am happy to see someone is having fun. Nice pics by the way.

The Tieton Road has been plowed, as well as the main snow park lot... however, the trails have not been groomed yet, most spots are 1-2 sleds wide and starting to get a little bumpy. The sidehill area coming in is still only one sled wide till it gets groomed. Beware of rocks along the sides of the roads (trails) on the way up, there's lots of 2' boulders that rolled down since they cleaned out the road system this summer... I advise staying toward the middle of the road till they get it groomed and we get a little base to start covering things up.
