G4 BELT EATER! [2017 Ski Doo 850 Rev G4 clutching/belt fix?] Belt Issues

Here's mine at 80-90 miles. I had been watching mine too everything went through night before. Granted they were 90 hard miles but still. Last ride I could smell my belt all day had to sit and let them cool multiple times

Make sure that didn't F-up the bearing seal, if they are anything like the Old gen sleds. Seen blown belts take out the seal, and then the motor leans out.... Boom

Clicker dwg.

I believe that we'll see some aftermarket weight-adjustable flyweight arms for the pDrive this season... with position of the
weight on the arm itself variable.

This is the BRP factory method of adding weight to the arm... it only adds this to the mid flyweight position and is not changed in relation to the clutch with the movement of the clicker

Does anyone else going through belts have sticky rollers... Before even riding one roller was stuck. Dealer looked at it but didn't have parts to replace the stuck roller. Now they're all sticky/tight, can barely roll some of them with fingers and have to break some loose after riding. Clutch has been making a loud noise that I believe is these rollers, since they squeak now when I try to roll them. Pulled a cord on my belt in under 200 miles. I stop for cool downs, try to not overheat the clutch too much. Planning to add more venting, change secondary spring and possibly add weight.

I blew my first belt today, riding in 30-40" of fresh. When I started getting the mess out the secondary clutch wasn't very hot but the primary was hot enough to melt my skin. Might need a touch weaker secondary spring. (I have felkers clutching). I also tightened my chain last night and it stretched enough today to start skipping.

Stock bolt is 17grams, and I added 3 lock washers at 1.5 grams each per bolt.I will test tomorrow.

We had a roller here that was flat spotted. Bad. Doo screwed up on the clutches this year. When you ride with a bud who is on a Poo, he can hold his bare hands on both clutches and they are cool, and I burn my hands through a glove on the secondary AFTER throwing snow on it....there is an issue.
