I'm in the need for a new track, found a good deal locally on a take off 153" off a 2006 M7.

Could I run a 153" on my 151" skid?

With my wore out 151" on I still have roughly 1.5" left on the track tension bolt and axle before they bottom out, seems like more then enough room? or have I had too many :beer;

You need 3.0 pitch drivers but it should work just fine lengthwise. I run a 156 on 153 rails in the same chassis.

you can order the 8" m7 rear wheels and make your own big wheel kit to take up the slack if needed but should work fiine.

I fit a 156 on 151 rails. If youre going to do the switch get a set of extrovert drivers. Takes care of the ratcheting problem and you can run the track tension alot lower.
