I want to go the a 16X144x2 or 2.25...Has anybody done this.....Looks to be very close...will I have to change the drivers? If i go with smaller drivers how will that effect the gearing? Are all the 16in tracks a 3.0pitch?

Any experience would be helpful......Thanks

Yes it will fit.
Put rev chaincase bolts or grind down yurs.

1 screw in each footwell needs to be turned around. Nut out.

Drop brackets need a small notch cut in them where track slides by. Revs are flat. You'll C.

2 rivets in tunnel, top middle hit track lugs. I took a razor and nicked the lugs for clearance. (Not all sleds)

NO!!!! all 16 wide are not all 3 inch pitch.

Did this last yr on mine - only went to 162 x 2-1/4

As above - you need to grind some stuff down, turn some others around. I dodn't notch my track for anything tho. ???

Instead of grinding much on the drop brackets in the back - I think I just used a cpl worshers on each side to spread the tunnel out around it a little better.

I went with the 3" pitch 7 (?) tooth drivers. These are a little smaller, but not a lot. Should work out well with your current gearing if you go to 3".

If you doo not have extrovert drivers - I would highly recomend them! The more traction you get, the more likely it is to ratchet the drivers.

Or....??????Do i do the power claw 141...the 15 wide would make it a little easier fit....This would be 3in. shorter than the 144.... will I ever notice that?

will I ever notice that?

16 x 144 x 2.25 = 5184

15 x 141 x 2.25 = 4759

The numbers don't lie.

One spins easier, one floats beter.
